Digital Ecosystem for Teacher Training Project

As education systems increasingly respond to new societal, economic and digital needs, teachers stand at the forefront of change. In order to respond to these changes, education systems are progressively focusing on developing teachers’ capacities to acquire digital competencies.

Project Objective

To strengthen national institutional capacity through innovative and digital technologies.

To enhance the quality of the existing digital education and training ecosystem and to ensure that teachers provide better services to all children by developing their capacities to meet the requirements of the labour market.

Results

Awareness

Public knowledge and awareness regarding Digital Education and Training Ecosystems is increased.

Training Modules

Digital training modules targeting teachers, school administrators and other educational personnel are developed.

Training Platform

The existing digital teacher training platform is enhanced

Digital Competencies

The number of teachers and other educational personnel possessing digital competencies is increased.

Overall Situation

Approximately 200,000 teachers, school administrators and other educational personnel working with students at all educational levels throughout Turkey.
